Dubai-Mubasher: Orient Insurance Company confirmed the news that it received the Insurance Authority’s (IA) approval to establish a new firm, according to a bourse statement.
Dubai-listed insurer got a license to set up, in partnership with Union National Bank (UNB), a new Takaful insurance company under the name of Orient UNB Takaful, Orient CEO Omer Elamin previously told AlKhaleej newspaper, adding the new firm is likely to see written premuims worth AED 300 million during its first year of operation.
