PEX back to red after 4 green days; Al Quds declines 0.26%

Mubasher: Palestine Exchange’s (PEX) indices plummeted on Sunday after a four day rise, as AL Quds Index declined 0.26% or 1.38 point to 530 points, and the general index slipped 0.22% or 0.61 points to 279.73 points.

Trading value fell to $269,960 versus $424,060 yesterday, while trading volume reached 155,590 shares exchanged in 85 trades, compared to 270,000 shares exchanged yesterday.

The banking sector dropped 0.41%, followed by the financial with 0.36% lower. However, investment sector and industrial sectors increased 0.34% and 0.06% respectively, while the insurance stayed at the same rates.

Global Com Telecommunication was the weakest share with a decline of 11.11%, while Arab Islamic Bank topped the risers with 3.7%.

PEX closed Thursday with a rise, as Al Quds increased 0.11% to 531.38 points.
