Mubasher: Palestine Exchange’s PEX main indices closed Sunday in the green territory, as Al Quds Index rose 0.11% or 0.6 point to 535.65 points, and the benchmark leapt 0.08% or 0.23 point to 282.22 points.
Trading value rose to $2.04 million compared to around $630,430 on Thursday, and trading volume reached 1.5 shares traded through 189 trades, versus 515,400 shares.
The insurance sector rose 1.5%, followed by the banking and financial sectors which both gained 0.41%, while services fell alone by 0.24%.
Ahleia Insurance Group was the strongest share as it closed with a growth of 7.14%, while Global Com Telecommunication topped the decliners with a fall of 10%.
On Thursday, the PEX also closed in green, as Al Quds Index rose 0.12% to 535.05 points.
