Mubasher: The Palestine Exchange (PEX) closed Tuesday in green, as Al Quds Index inched up 0.1% or 0.53 point to the level of 529.99 points, and the benchmark index moved up 0.29% to 281.14 points.
Turnover reached $669,020, compared to $493,260 on Monday. Trading came to 519,670 through 172 trades, compared to 184,900 shares exchanged yesterday.
The bourse was supported by the positive performance by the services and industrial sectors, as they rose 0.3% and 0.2% respectively, while the insurance, investment and banking fell 0.3%, 0.08% and 0.07% respectively.
Palestine Real Estate Investment was the best performer by adding 3.33% while Global Com Telecommunication topped losers after shrinking 12.5%.
Al Quds index closed yesterday at the level of 529.46 points after declining 0.22%.
