Palestine’s trade deficit declines 10% in October

Mubasher: Palestine’s trade balance deficit fell by 9.7% to $349.3 million in October, according to the data released by Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).

Exports increased by 20.3% to $76.3 million, the PCBS stated.

Exports to Israel rose by 12.6%, while exports to other countries climbed 84.5%.

Exports to Israel represented 83.7% of Palestine’s total exports.

On the other hand, Palestine’s imports decreased by 5.5% to $425.6 million in October.

Imports from Israel dropped 19.6% by 12.6%, while imports from other countries climbed 20.7%.

Imports from Israel represented 55.3% of Palestine’s total exports in October.
