Riyadh – Mubasher: Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company (Petro Rabigh) said Thursday it completed most of the infrastructure works at its Rabigh Project (Phase II).
The new facilities for the production of water and electricity related to the expansion of the project have been operated, it added.
“Also work is currently underway to complete the rest of the project facilities, where it is expected to increase the capacity of the Ethane Cracker Unit to 125 million standard cubic feet daily during the first quarter of 2016,” said the petrochemical firm.
Petro Rabigh also stated that all construction works of the project will be completed in September 2016, which is nine months behind the planned schedule.
