Riyadh – Mubasher: Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co. (Petro Rabigh) posted SAR 32.7 million ($8.72 million) net loss for the first quarter of 2016, against SAR 205.4 million ($54.7 million) net profit in the prior-year period, the company said in a bourse filing Wednesday.
The losses seen in the first quarters were ascribed to lower refining margins and a decrease in sold quantities of petrochemical products.
