Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s ministry of petroleum and mineral resources announced that Belayim Petroleum Company (Petrobel) has made a new oil discovery in the field of Abu Rudeis in North Sinai, local newspaper Akhbar El-Yom reported.
Petrobel’s plan includes the drilling of ten wells with an output of 3,000 barrels of crude oil per day.
It is noteworthy that Petrobel is a joint venture between the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and the Italian oil and gas major ENI.
