Riyadh – Mubasher: The National Petrochemicals Co. (Petrochem) announced that its affiliate Saudi Polymers Co. resumed operations on Tuesday, 29 November.
The Petrochemical Company had stopped the scheduled maintenance for the Saudi Polymers plant and shut it for 60 days, starting from 1 October.
The financial impact of the shutdown period will appear in the fourth quarter of 2016 and the first quarter of 2017, according to a bourse filing.
Petrochem owns a 65% stake in Saudi Polymers Company.
