Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s ministry of petroleum is planning to increase the production capacity of its refineries to 41 million tonnes of crude oil per year, according to Petroleum Minister, Tarek EL-Molla.
During his visit to Alexandria to check the projects of Alexandria National Refining and Petrochemicals Company (ANRPC), EL-Molla said that the new refinery projects represent a key factor in the ministry’s strategy to boost productivity and secure the energy supply for the country, according to a statement.
