Peugeot unveils new agency line-up in GCC

Mubasher: France’s auto giant Peugeot is boosting its return to the GCC countries with a complete revamp of its agency line-up.

As the Peugeot 308 hatchback recently won the “Best Hatchback” at the 2019 Middle East Car of the Year Awards, the carmaker announced that it has appointed new agencies to manage its public relations and social media, according to a recent press release.

Performance Communications, a sports and automotive communications specialist, would manage Peugeot’s public relations.

Peugeot selected Dubai-based advertising agency Science & Sunshine, as its creative agency.

“With Peugeot’s comeback in the region well underway, and with an exciting line-up of future-ready vehicles, Science & Sunshine’s strategy for a fresh and disruptive approach will bring the brand back into hearts and minds of motorists, and importantly, back onto the roads,” the company said.

Moreover, the auto manufacturer’s social media presence will be managed by digital engagement agency Socialeyez.

“This is an incredibly exciting time for Peugeot, we are introducing some fantastic products to the region and I’m sure, with the support of our new agency line-up, you will be seeing a lot more of Peugeot in the future,” the automaker’s Middle East marketing head Reham Eldidi said.
