Cairo – Mubasher: Pfizer Inc. has pledged to raise investments in Egypt in a bid to boost cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Population to eradicate Hepatitis C virus (HCV), head of Egypt-US Business Council (EUSBC) Omar Muhanna said.
The firm’s statement came during Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi’s meeting with 44 representatives of American companies.
Al-Sisi met with the American investors in a bid to attract them to pump more investments in the North African country.
Egypt aims to attract $10 billion foreign direct investment (FDI) during fiscal year 2018/2019.
