Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt's inflation is expected to peak to 21.6-25% on a yearly basis in the short run, said a recent note complied by Pharos Research.
In November 2016, both Egypt's headline and core inflation rates rose to 19.4% y-o-y and 20.7% y-o-y, respectively, which is in line with Pharos's previous expectation.
The inflation rate would average around 18.5% in FY2016/17 before going gradually down in the next following couple, added the note.
