Cairo – Mubasher: Port Said Container and Cargo Handling Co., a subsidiary of the Holding Company of Maritime and Land Transport, seeks to achieve total revenues of EGP 1.13 billion during fiscal year 2019/2020.
The ordinary general meeting (OGM) has approved the budget estimate of Port Said Container for fiscal year 2019/2020, targeting a profit of EGP 630 million, up from EGP 500 million eyed for fiscal year 2018/2019, according to a recent statement by Maritime and Land Transport.
The holding company added that Port Said Container plans to handle 600,000 containers in the coming fiscal year, up 20% when compared to 500,000 targeted for the current fiscal year 2018/2019.
It added that Port Said Container also plans to raise its revenues in FY19/20 from EGP 900 million planned for the current fiscal year.
In FY19/20, Port Said Container plans to invest a total of EGP 191 million in purchasing new equipment.
