Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Customs Authority collected EGP 2.22 billion in customs duties and charges at Port Said during July.
The total value of taxes and customs duties collected for imported goods at Port Said reached EGP 354.465 million during last month, according to a statement by the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday.
Moreover, value-added taxes (VAT) and other charges imposed on these goods registered EGP 1.866 billion during the month, the statement showed.
The imported goods included wheat, legumes, vehicles, and spare parts.
