Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Customs Authority collected EGP 234.7 million in customs duties, taxes, and other charges at Port Said during April and May.
Port Said released clearance for passenger cars, trucks, machinery, and spare parts valued at EGP 1.6 billion during the two months, according to a statement by the Ministry of Finance on Sunday.
The total value of taxes and customs duties collected for imported passenger cars, trucks, machinery, and spare parts at Port Said registered EGP 55.01 million during April and May.
Other charges collected for other authorities amounted to EGP 179.6 million during the two months, the statement showed.
