Cairo - Mubasher: Portfolio investment in Egypt reversed to net outflows of $ 1.4 billion in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2015/16, from net inflows of $ 316.0 million for the similar period of FY14/15, said Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
Such a reversal largely attributed to the Egyptian authorities' repayment of bonds for $ 1250.0 million (outflows) that have been fallen due in the reporting period, noted CBE.
These bonds were issued in world markets in 2005.
