Kuwait-Mubasher: Kuwait Portland Cement has signed a supply contract worth KWD 57.5 million ($190.37 million) with Kuwait Supply Co., the company said in a bourse statement issued Thursday.
The contract covers a supply of 250,000 tons of reinforced steel, subject to an increase or a decrease by 10%.
The deal will have a positive impact on financial statements, the company clarified, adding that the impact cannot be currently estimated.
Portland Cement stock ended Thursday’s session with a 2% rise to KWD 1.02, as about 161,250 shares were traded at a value of nearly KWD 161,280.
