Cairo – Mubasher: Prime Holding on Monday posted a 196% year-on-year hike in consolidated profits for the first quarter of 2018, recording EGP 8.1 million from EGP 2.78 million.
Revenue surged to EGP 22 million in the three-month period ended last March, versus EGP 13.7 million in Q1-17, the company said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
Standalone profits rose to EGP 4.9 million in Q1-18, from EGP 1.5 million in the prior-year period, the EGX-listed firm.
Prime Holding had previously said it achieved a net profit of EGP 30.8 million for the full-year ended December 2017, compared to EGP 25.86 million in profits a year earlier.
