Prime Holding profits rise 19% in 2017

Cairo – Mubasher: The financial indicators of Prime Holding on Tuesday showed a 19% year-on-year rise in consolidated profits for 2017 due to higher revenues.

Net profit amounted to EGP 30.8 million last year, compared to profits of EGP 25.86 million in 2016, the company said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

Revenues totalled EGP 85.4 million in 2017, versus EGP 65.86 million a year earlier.

Meanwhile, standalone profits slightly fell to EGP 23.7 million last year from EGP 24.2 million.

Prime Holding last posted EGP 8.9 million profits for the third quarter of 2017, against losses of EGP 328,400 in Q3-16.
