Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Wednesday’s trading session with negative performance, pressured by profit-taking on blue-chip stocks.
The general index inched down 0.35%, ending the session at 5,058.09 points.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 63.75 million shares exchanged with a turnover of AED 201.39 million through 1,638 transactions.
RAK Cement’s stock topped decliners after falling 9.43%, while Methaq Takaful Insurance’s stock retreated 5%.
Similarly, the stocks of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) and National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah plunged 1.64%, each.
Meanwhile, Al Waha Capital’s stock headed gainers with 3.6%.
