Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has seen a bearish trend on Wednesday after seeing a wave of profit-taking.
The ADX’s general index closed today’s session down by 0.04% at 5,128.56 points, losing 2.19 points.
The bourse’s turnover stood at AED 177.52 million after seeing a trading volume of 60.360 million shares.
Market capitalisation gained AED 644 million and closed the session at AED 523.749 billion.
The banks sector was the sole decliner with a slump of 0.39%, while the energy sector remained stable as compared to Tuesday’s trading session.
On the other hand, the telecommunication and the real estate sectors went up by 0.73% and 0.15%, respectively.
ADNOC Distribution was the most heavily traded stock with a trading volume of 21.278 million shares and a turnover of AED 56.812 million.
Dana Gas and First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) shed 0.91% to 0.98 and 0.78% to AED 15.28.
Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) rose by 1.20% to AED 5.02 and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) added 0.60% to AED 8.40.
