Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Tuesday’s trading session in the red territory after seeing a wave of profit-taking.
The All Share Market index shed 0.49%, finishing the session at 6,113.05 points.
Meanwhile, the Premier and Main market indices slipped 0.48% and 0.52%, respectively.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity rose slightly by 3.2% to KWD 38.55 million from KWD 37.35 million on Monday, while the trading volume grew by 11.5% to 246.96 million shares from 221.55 million shares.
The technology sector headed the decliners with a decrease of 4.05%, while the financial services sector led the gainers with an increase of 1.785.
Senergy Holding’s stock, down 10.78%, led the declining stocks, while Manazel topped the rising stocks with 15.44%.
National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), down 0.89%, was the most heavily traded stock today with a turnover of KWD 7.03 million.
