Cairo – Mubasher: Property prices are expected to increase by 10%-20% in 2019, head of JLL’s Cairo Office Ayman Sami told Mubasher.
However, the great jumps in prices, which have followed the liberation of the EGP’s exchange rate, will not recur, the top official added.
The Egyptian real estate market’s growth is expected to slow down next year due to the increase in prices and the decline in deman, typical to 2018’s situation, Sami noted.
Sami maintained that the market may recover by 2020, in tandem with offering 40,000 housing units by the private sector.
