Doha – Mubasher: Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO), a subsidiary of Industries Qatar (IQ), on Sunday announced signing an agreement with Qatar Petroleum (QP) to provide QAPCO with additional amounts of ethane gas in order to improve its production capacity and enhance its financial and operational performance.
QP owns a 51% stake in IQ.
IQ signed its latest agreement in February, merging the activities of Qatar Vinyl Company Ltd (QVC) with QAPCO, with the latter managing the two companies.
By 1:13 pm Qatar time, IQ’s stock dropped 2.98% to QAR 105.09.
