Doha-Mubasher: Qatar Electricity and Water Company (QEWC) said it nears signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Qatar Petroleum to develop a firm for producing solar energy power.
QEWC, listed in Qatar Stock Exchange, earlier posted a net profit of about QAR 1.14 billion in the first nine months of 2015, compared to around QAR 1.17 million in the same period last year.
Earnings per share dropped to QAR 10.37 from QAR 10.63.
