Doha-Mubasher: Qatar Electricity and Water Company (QEWC) reported a 13.6% profit rise for the second quarter of 2016, according to a bourse statement.
Profits reached QAR 444 million ($121.81 million) in Q2-16, compared to QAR 371 million ($107.27 million) in Q2-15.
In the first half of 2016, profits increased 7.3% to QAR 791 million compared to QAR 737 million in the same period a year earlier.
Earnings per share (EPS) stood at QAR 7.19 in H1-16, compared to QAR 6.7.
