Mubasher: The Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) on Tuesday announced that the Eid al-Fitr holiday will be three days starting from Sunday 17 June and ending on Tuesday, 19 June.
Eid al-Fitr, a three-day Muslim festival marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan, will begin on Friday, 15 June.
Trading activities will resume on Wednesday 20 June, according to a tweet by the QFMA.
By 11:50 am Qatar time, the Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) general index retreated 49.09 points, or 0.53%, to 9,154.23 points.
