Doha – Mubasher: Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) on Tuesday announced renewing the business licence of its branch in Abu Dhabi.
In September, QIC had said that the renewal was not possible owing to the political situation in the GCC, following the political rift that occurred between Qatar and neighbouring GCC members.
In a previous statement, QIC revealed that it would close down its Abu Dhabi’s branch, which had been operational in the UAE since 2002.
