Doha – Mubasher: Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) on Wednesday announced the launch of operations of Umnia Bank in Morocco, as a result of a partnership between QIIB, Crédit Immobilier et Hotelier (CIH), and the Moroccan Deposit and Management Fund.
QIIB’s operational work started through its branches in Casablanca and Rabat, while Umnia is considered the first Islamic bank to obtain the approval of the Central Bank of Morocco to promote its products in Morocco.
Umnia Bank has focused on expanding in various cities in Morocco and offering various banking products.
