Cairo – Mubasher: The financial results of Qatar National Bank Alahli (QNBA) on Wednesday showed a 36.4% year-on-year increase in profits during the third quarter of 2017, due to a rise in yields.
The bank achieved EGP 1.5 billion in profits during Q3-17, as compared to EGP 1.1 billion in the year-ago period, according to a bourse statement.
The net rate of return hiked to EGP 2.3 billion during Q3-17, versus EGP 1.8 billion during Q3-16.
The profits rose to EGP 4.2 billion during the first nine months in 2017, comparing to EGP 3.08 billion during the same period a year ago.
As for standalone profits, the bank achieved EGP 4.06 billion during the nine months ending in September, versus EGP 2.9 billion in the year-ago period.
