Cairo – Mubasher: Qatar National Bank Al Ahli (QNB Al Ahli) on Wednesday reported a consolidated net profit of EGP 2.022 billion for the first quarter of 2018, up 2.6% year-on-year from EGP 1.6 billion, including minority shareholders’ rights.
The bank’s net income surged to EGP 3.2 billion in Q1-19, versus EGP 2.28 billion in the same quarter of 2018, QNB Al Ahli said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
At the level of standalone business, the bank achieved profits of EGP 1.9 billion during the three-month period ended in March, compared to EGP 1.5 billion in Q1-18.
It is worth noting that QNB Al Ahli previously posted an EGP 7.2 billion in consolidated profit for fiscal year 2018, versus EGP 5.5 billion in 2017.
