Cairo – Mubasher: Qatar National Bank Al Ahli (QNB Al Ahli) on Tuesday reported a 30% year-on-year surge in its consolidated profit during the full-year 2018, registering to EGP 7.2 billion compared to EGP 5.5 billion.
Returns on loans rose to EGP 30.5 billion from the January-December period of 2018, versus EGP 24.5 billion in the prior-year period, according to the lender’s statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
QNB Al Ahli’s standalone profit amounted to EGP 6.9 billion last year, compared to EGP 5.2 billion in 2017.
During the first nine months of 2018, the bank reported a 26.8% year-on-year increase in consolidated profits, recording EGP 5.38 billion from EGP 4.24 billion.
