Cairo – Mubasher: QNB Al Ahli Tuesday has announced that its board had proposed the distribution of EGP 979.46 million in cash dividends, EGP 1 per share.
Around EGP 691.7 million is planned to be allocated for the bank’s employees, as a share of the profits recorded in the previous year, according to a bank statement.
QNB Al Ahli revealed that its investments in 2018 had reached EGP 39.9 billion ($2.23 billion).
Investments in 2018 were divided into financial investments available for sale worth EGP 2.3 billion and investments held until maturity worth EGP 36.58 billion, the bank said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
The EGX-listed bank posted a 26.8% year-on-year increase in consolidated profits for the first nine months of 2018, recording EGP 5.38 billion from EGP 4.24 billion.
