Mubasher: The heavyweight Qatar National Bank’s (QNB) stock was the most actively-traded stock on the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) on Monday, reaching the highest price since January 2015.
The stock acquired 47.2% of the bourse's turnover, according to the QSE’s statement.
By 12:20 Qatar time, QNB’s stock hiked 3.29% at QAR 158.
Moreover, the stock led the market in terms of liquidity with QAR 134.6 million, acquiring 47.2% of the total turnover, which amounted to QAR 285.4 million.
It is worth noting that QNB’s profits rose 7% to QAR 3.4 billion for the first quarter of 2018, compared to QAR 3.2 billion in Q1-17.
