Mubasher: Qatar Petroleum's (QP) sold cargoes of Al Shaheen crude oil may decline to 13 in September due to maintenance process at the fields, sources familiar with the matter have said.
The world’s biggest supplier of liquefied natural gas (LNG) sold around 15 cargoes of Al Shaheen crude oil in August, sources told Reuters.
It is worth noting that Al-Shaheen is considered QP’s largest oil field with a production capacity of 300,000 barrels per day (bpd).
National Oil Company (NOC), a subsidiary of QP, will start managing the Al-Shaheen oil field as of 14 July for a 25-year period.
