Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) saw gains on Sunday, spurred by the rise of five sectors topped by the real estate and banks.
The main index grew 0.25% or 25.98 points to reach 10,596.39 points.
The real estate sector gained 0.78% after Ezdan Holding Group rose 0.73%.
The banks sector levelled up 0.45% as Qatar National Bank (QNB) increased 1.90%.
On the flipside, the industrial sector fell 1.22% due to a decrease in Industries Qatar (IQ) by 4.07%.
Turnover amounted QAR 167.6 million on Sunday, compared to QAR 192 million last Thursday. Trading volume reached 6.6 million shares, compared to 8.85 million shares.
Vodafone Qatar led losers with a 1.90% decrease, generating QAR 20.4 million from the exchange of 2.2 million shares.
