Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Sunday’s trading session in the green, helped by a massive rise of all sectors.
By 09:56 am Qatar time, the general index hiked 1% to 9,886.29 points, adding 102 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 44.1 million after 1.42 million shares were traded through 690 transactions.
The industrial sector topped the QSE’s risers adding 1.5%, followed by the real estate and transportation sector with 1.2% and 0.03%, respectively.
The heavyweight Qatar National Bank’s (QNB) stock, which advanced 1.41%, led the QSE in terms of liquidity with QAR 10.4 million, while Ezdan Holding Group’s stock, which rose 1.9%, headed the market in terms of trading volume with 256,500 shares.
