Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended Tuesday’s trading session with positive performance after its main index went up 17.05 points, or 0.16%, to 10,376.80 points.
Liquidity fell to QAR 215.06 million from QAR 271.18 million, while trading volume stood at 11.36 million shares, compared to 14.99 million on Monday.
The real estate sector led the gainers with 0.87% as Ezdan Holding Group’s stock rose 2%.
The industrials sector inched up 0.54% as Gulf International Services’ (GIS) stock increased by 2.73%.
On the flipside, the transportation sector shed 0.69% after Gulf Warehousing Group’s (GWCS) stock tumbled 1.07%.
Islamic Holding Group (IHGS) topped the winners with 6.47%, while Qatar Cinema and Film Distribution Company led the losers with 7%.
Qatar Aluminium Manufacturing (QAMCO), which grew 1.25%, headed the bourse in terms of trading volume with 1.70 million shares, while Qatar National Bank (QNB), which ended the mid-week session stable at QAR 195.99, posted the highest traded value with QAR 30.90 million.
