Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Thursday's trading session in green territory, after its main index jumped 19.8 points, or 0.2%, reaching 9,981.34 points.
By 9:47 am Qatar time, the bourse’s trading volume reached 467,300 shares exchanged through 220 transactions, generating a turnover of QAR 10.51 million.
The industrials sector inched up 0.5%, whereas the real estate sector shed 0.64%.
Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company’s (QIMC) stock rose 1.6%, while Islamic Holding Group’s (IHG) stock was the worst performer with 2.7%.
Industries Qatar’s stock, up 0.57%, led in terms of traded value with QAR 2.82 million, whereas Mazaya Qatar Real Estate Development’s stock, down 0.13%, topped in terms of trading volume after 87,300 shares were exchanged.
