Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Sunday’s trading in the green.
By 10:05 am Qatar time, the general index grew 0.24% to 9,071.27 points, adding more than 22 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 33.5 million after 1.4 million shares were traded through 635 transactions.
The insurance sector topped the QSE’s risers adding 1.43%, followed by the industrial sector, which levelled up 0.43%.
On the flipside, the transportation and telecommunication sectors were the bourse’s only decliners falling 0.46% and 0.14%, respectively.
Industries Qatar’s stock, which jumped 1.2%, led the QSE in terms of liquidity with QAR 9.12 million, while Vodafone Qatar’s stock headed the market in terms of trading volume with 535,000 shares.
