Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Sunday’s trading session in positive territory, supported by the jump of three sectors.
By 10:30 am Qatar time, the general index grew 0.54% to 9,819.11 points, adding 52.78 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 70.48 million after 2.08 million shares were traded through 1,010 transactions.
The banking sector topped the QSE’s gainers adding 1.05% as Al Khalij Commercial Bank (KCBK) grew 1.55%.
On the flipside, the real estate sector headed the market’s four decliners falling 1.86% on the back of Ezdan Holding Group’s 3.35% drop.
Qatar Insurance’s stock, which decreased 0.73%, led the QSE in terms of trading volume with 303,080 shares, while Qatar National Bank’s (QNB) stock, which advanced 1.43%, spearheaded the market in terms of liquidity with QAR 20.67 million.
