QSE benchmark loses 21 points in early trade

Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index kicked off Monday’s trading in red, as it shrank by about 0.21% or 21 points to the level of 10,531.65 points.

Also, QE Al Rayan Islamic Index and the All Shares Index fell by about 0.15% to 3,943 points and 0.22% to 2,809 points, respectively.

Trading value reached around QAR 19.62 million after 297 trades were executed on about 681,080 shares.

The Insurance sector made the weakest performance after losing 1.71% down, while the transportation came first on the green list with a rise of 0.67%.

Qatar Gas Transport was the top riser as it gained 1.07%, while Qatar National Bank was the lowest with a fall of 9.59%.

The Qatar Stock Exchange’s main index closed Sunday with a rise of 0.30% or about 31.25 points to 10,553.46 points.
