Doha – Mubasher: The Qatari bourse’s main index shed 3.02% or 303.67 points closing at 9,767.22 points on Thursday.
The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) was pushed lower by the declines of almost all the market's sectors.
Al Rayan Islamic Index went down 3.02% to 3,585.21 points, and the All Shares Index increased 2.87% to 2,606.45 points.
Thursday's total turnover reached QAR 267.99 million, with 6.49 million shares changed hand through 4,183 transactions.
At the sectorial level, the sectors of real estate, insurance and transportation lost 4.26%, 3.82% and 1.9% respectively.
Out of 42 stocks traded today, decliners outnumbered advancers by 37 stocks and 4 stocks respectively, while only one stock remained unchanged.
