QSE closes 0.11 lower on real estate, industrial stocks

Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Wednesday’s trading falling by 0.11% or 10.66 points to the level of 9,974.60 points.

Ezdan Holding shrank 1.6%, Mesaieed slid 1.35% and Commercial Bank of Qatar slipped 0.57%.

Trading volume increased to 11.23 million shares from 8.93 million shares exchanged on Tuesday, turnover also rose to QAR 418.2 million from QAR 318.8 million.

The Real Estate sectors declined 1.83% due to a decrease of 0.16% in Mazaya Qatar, the telecom sector dropped 0.49% as Vodafone Qatar and Ooredoo fell 1.14% and 0.33% respectively.

Meanwhile, the industrial sector grew 0.76%, backed by a rise of 3.8% in National Cement, the banking and transportation sectors leapt by 0.01% and 0.12% respectively.
