Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index ended Monday’s session rising by 0.15% or 15.28 points to the level of 9,964.02 points.
Trading volume rose to 10.7 million shares from 7.3 million shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also rose to QAR 481.6 million from QAR 216.4 million.
Al Khaliji Bank grew 2.25%, Qatar Electricity and Water gained 1.64%, Masraf Al Rayan advanced 0.89%, Nakilat rose 0.44% and Industries Qatar leapt 0.30%.
The consumer goods and services sector was the worst performer after falling by 0.6%, pressured by a 1.65% decline in AL Meera.
The telecom sector shrank 0.42% due to a decrease of 0.44% in Ooredoo and 0.38% in Vodafone Qatar.
The real estate sector closed 0.16% down as Barwa Real Estate slid 0.5%.
Meanwhile, the industrial sector rose 1% as Gulf International topped gainers by adding 6.94%, and the banking sector leapt 0.06%.
