Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) declined at Tuesday’s close by 0.23% or 24.7 points to the level of 10,584.94 points.
Trading volume decreased to 8.5 million shares from 8.8 million shares exchanged on Monday, while turnover increased to QAR 261.5 million from QAR 238.5 million.
The industrial sector dropped 0.31% as Gulf International, down 4.21%, was the worst performer.
Meanwhile, the banking and real estate sectors rose by the same percentage of 0.43%.
Doha Insurance topped gainers after adding 1.67%.
Vodafone Qatar was the most active stock in terms of trading volume with 2.5 million shares, while QNB made the highest turnover of QAR 54 million.
