Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) declined on Monday by 0.27% or 26.1 points to the level of 9,816.75 points.
Trading volume decreased 45.6% to 2.6 million shares from 4.78 million shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also shrank by 32.71% to QAR 136.22 million.
The real estate sector declined 0.52% as Ezdan Holding was down 0.78%.
The industrial sector also retreated 0.33%, dragged by a fall of 0.27% in Gulf International which made the highest liquidity of QAR 10.49 million.
The banking sector slipped 0.11% as Masraf Al Rayan and Qatar Islamic Bank shrank 0.44% and 0.53% respectively.
Meanwhile, the consumer goods and insurance sectors advanced by 0.43% and 0.24% respectively.
