Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Sunday’s session with a growth of 0.4% or 39.25 points to the level of 9,924.47 points.
Trading volume decreased 59.1% to 1.68 million shares from 4.11 million shares exchanged on
Thursday, turnover also shrank by 55% to QAR 67.24 million from QAR 149.5 million.
The banking sector rose 0.79% as QNB, Masraf Al Rayan and Doha Bank advanced 1.43%, 0.74% and 0.28% respectively.
The real estate sector also grew by 0.61%, backed by a growth of 1.23% and 0.83% in Ezdan Holding and Mazaya Qatar.
Meanwhile, the insurance sector was the worst performer after falling 1.62% as Qatar Insurance declined 0.95%.
Gulf International was the most active stock as 455,040 shares were exchanged at QAR 16.6 million.
