Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Wednesday’s session with a fall of 0.54% or 56.98 points to the level of 10,591.58 points.
Turnover decreased by 12.8% to QAR 262.2 million from QAR 300.62 million on Tuesday, trading volume also shrank by 18.2% to 7 million shares from 8.56 million shares.
The banking, industrial sectors dropped by 0.93% and 0.65% respectively.
Meanwhile, the telecom and real estate sectors were the only risers as they grew by 0.51% and 0.21% respectively.
Commercial Bank of Qatar topped the red list with a decrease of 6.55%, while Qatar Islamic Insurance led gainers by adding 2.3%.
Ezdan Holding made the biggest trading volume activity with 1 million traded shares, whereas QNB made the highest liquidity of QAR 24 million.
The index rose yesterday by 0.6% or 63.5 points to 10,648.58 points.
